Meet Coach Krouse: Your Strength Advocate

Career personal trainer since 2014. Mom of two awesome, energetic boys. Being strong and badass makes everything better.

BS in Biology from CU Boulder, certified personal trainer, certified nutrition coach, certified pre-postnatal coach. Continuing education: perimenopause/menopause, injury/post-surgical recovery, fascial conditioning/mobility.

  • I remember it clearly. I was in my early 30’s, a little lost with what to do with my life, on a hike in the foothills of Boulder. And it hits me, I am happiest when I’m moving. Whether it’s hiking, dancing, martial arts, lifting heavier weights than I ever thought possible. It doesn’t matter what it is, I ALWAYS feel better after moving. 


    This revelation inspired me. Maybe I could help other people feel better physically, mentally, emotionally by making moving more accessible and fun. Sometimes the simple things like going for a walk or lifting weights with friends can make all the difference. It doesn’t have to be complicated to be effective. Since 2014 I have been passionate about helping people become truly healthy and the best version of themselves though realistic lifestyle changes that, when done imperfectly but consistently can change their life.


    Over the course of my career it has been my experience that all (fitness) roads lead to strength. Being strong contributes to and is the foundation upon which power, balance, body composition, and longevity all rest. If you want to perform at your best, you need strength. If you want to play with your grandkids on the floor and live an independent life, you need strength. If you want to manage pain, prevent injury and keep being your badass self, you need strength.


    Now is the time to show up for yourself. Invest the time and effort to become more resilient and better able to handle what life throws at you. Start where you are, learn impeccable form, show up consistently, add a challenge, make progress. Learn how to make the adjustments necessary in real life. Give yourself grace and keep showing up. One-on-one Personal Training: New Client

Work together to build a personalized program tailored to your body and life.

  • Whether you want a form check and workouts/exercise modifications to do on your own, or you need ongoing structure and support. Everyone starts with a new client jump start. This is four sessions over two weeks. We will cover proper form, discuss your exercise history and goals and work together to develop a training plan that includes strength and mobility and fits your unique body and lifestyle. At the end of two weeks you will have a better understanding of how to be safe and have fun in the gym. You will be set up to start building a strong, resilient body.

Small Group Personal Training

With cohorts limited to four people, this program delivers confidence and strength. Get expert guidance in a fun supportive environment.

  • Ready to incorporate strength training into your routine but worried about getting hurt and don’t know where to start? Prefer to work out with a group? Start here! Get the attention of one-on-one training at a fraction of the cost. With the group size limited to 4 people we ensure an environment where you can learn and make progress from week to week. We will tailor the experience to your ability. From absolute beginners to those who have been working out for years. Focusing on the primary movement patterns needed to execute all lifts with confidence. This is a 6 week, 2 day a week program. Whether you have some friends/family you want to get strong with or you want to join a group, this program delivers confidence and strength.  Let’s make getting strong fun! We are stronger together!

Nutrition Coaching

Cut through the noise and nonsense of diet culture and learn what really works when it comes to nutrition.

  • Nutrition is an integral part of living a healthy, happy life. Let’s give it the attention it deserves with 6 weeks of dedicated weekly calls addressing how to make mindful, aligned choices about how to nourish your body. Food is fuel but it is also fun and delicious!. Let’s take a look at nutrition with compassion, curiosity and honesty. Cut through the noise and nonsense of diet culture and learn what really works when it comes to nutrition. This is not about going on a diet. It is about learning to make sustainable choices that align with how you want to live your life.
